High Throughput Screening (HTS) and Compound Library Services for Drug Discovery: Label Independent, Inc. offers a variety screening services for both protein targets and cell-based assays. Assays are customized to the client target to provide the specific data required by our clients. With our flexible approach to screening services, we are able to provide services across a wide variety of targets using either label-free technology or traditional detection systems. Call us today to discuss your needs 866-617-DATA or contact us here. - GPCRs Screening
- Kinase Profiling
- Enzyme Binding & Functional
- Proteases
- Nuclear-Receptors

- Protein-Peptide
Label-Free HTS Services: Biochemical (protein) targets: (i.e.: kinase, protease, antibody, cytokine, etc.) assays can be performed using genuine label-free technology. These assays are ideal where target proteins are inactive (non-functional) or where the ligand binding partner is unknown. These assays allow us to test for direct binding of compounds to the immobilized target. Functional assays can also be performed where the target does not need be labeled. For more information, contact us here or call us at 866-617-DATA and we can provide a detailed experimental plan for your assay.
Cell-Based (whole cell) assays: (i.e.: GPCR agonist, antagonist, EGFR, and pathway exploration). In situations where cells are endogenously expressing the receptor of interest or where the pathway of response is unknown, label-free cell-based assays may be suitable. Label-free detection technology allows for high sensitivity at low expression levels and the integrated response profile allows for determination of Gi, Gq, and Gs pathway determination in a single assay. For more information, contact us here and we can provide a detailed experimental plan for your assay.
Traditional (labeled) HTS Assay Services: Biochemical (protein) Assay Services: These methods include fluorescent polarization, fluorescent intensity, TR-FRET, and HTRF. We can also transfer your validated assay in-house to provide on-demand screening services. For more information, contact us here and we can provide a detailed experimental plan for your assay.
Cell-Based (whole cell) assays: GPCR assays using calcium mobilization (FLUO-4) reagents for Gq coupled GPCR screening is available where cells over-express the receptor of interest. This fluorometric reading is provided using conventional reagents. Moreover cAMP assays can be used for Gi/Gs agonist determination. For more information, contact us here and we can provide a detailed experimental plan for your assay.
